Just to add to that: PS+ is a separate subscription that gives you online/multiplayer access for games that you own. PS Now *includes* PS+ for games that you play through PS Now, so no PS+ subscription is required for multiplayer games on PS Now.

Consider it a learning experience. I had a similar thing happen to me with xbox live and auto renew. They also refused to give a refund. Now i never give them my CC info. I just buy these cards and reload.

I've always had ps plus and would occasionally download the free game of the month. Sorry if this is a dumb question, but with PS Now, I see the library, but my issue has always been storage space. Do I need to download these games or are they, as well as progress, saved in a cloud or online?

Progress is saved in the cloud. As for downloading games, I think many people will prefer that since you would have to live near California, New York, wherever their datacenters are located, to be able to stream fast enough where input delay wouldn't be an issue. PS Now works great for me on the East Coast, but Stadia was terrible for me - I'm assuming those servers were largely situated on the west coast.

Thanks, repped.. I'm about an hour from NYC. I just hate to bog down by system with games i may only play a few times. If I can stream and content is saved that would be aweseome.. I had an external for my ps4 but can't find it.
I've had this a couple of years now and I wish I could say it's worth it. If you've had PlayStation Plus for a while (or a PS5 & the ps collection) you probably already have most of the games you'd actually want to play. Since the bigger titles are cloud-based you also need to have a pretty high speed connection. The PC app with this service is a joke. Doesn't work half the time & I'm not sure they even advertise it any more.
For the love of god, make sure to cancel auto-renewal and ensure it's disabled/cancelled a few days before renewal. They typically only provide a one-time refund for a mistaken renewal. After that, I have never heard a story of someone obtaining a refund. They will "elevate" you (likely to themselves with a different name) and say what the previous support said was correct and the refund can't go through.
Not a great customer service police and shady due to the fact it gets auto renewed even if you don't purchase it with your card, but ultimately it's the rules.
Hope this helps!
This is exactly why I never buy anything direct from PSN. They love to find tricky ways to squeeze dollars from you. That and someone bought a crapton of games when my account got compromised in a breach and I almost lost everything because of it.

For real though I will order the digital email card through Best Buy or amazon before I put credit card on PlayStation store. Lol

For a company this large, they ought to have better load balancing. Also you'd hope they have data centers all over not just at HQ.
