Only 90 days warranty. Which means no one year stuck/dead pixel policy they offer for new ones plus returns from customers after who knows what type of handling.

Not sure it is worth the risk.

I have the Zero-G 35", love it, awesome for gaming, great for something where you need a lot of screen real estate. Love the curve. I do kind of miss my dual monitors, as related to my work I need multiple Word/PDFs/websites open and having 2 smaller monitors was more seamless in this regard.

Just get it. Initially, I saw it on sale, after I did my research, the sale was done and I had to wait for 2 months for the next sale. I got a second one for another computer, a MP monitor via target where they have the same prices as MP, got the redcard 5% and some amount of rebate. Doubt they have open box though.

GLTA!

If you're not a gamer, those specs shouldn't make any difference to you. Outside of gaming at 144hz and some better color due to quantum dot tech, I would say it's not worth the upgrade.

Thanks. Figured It out. Looks like the 49 is out of stock, guess that's why the price doesn't show the sale price

Interesting. Which Mac was it and what were you using to connect? Any dongles or adapters in the middle?

The issue I mentioned is I think specific to use of USB-C from a M1 Mac (the latest implementation of their USB-C being incompatible with older versions of USB-C on the Dell but not the the LG)

It is possible that there is a different issue with a different combination of Mac, port and type of connection.

In any case, the lesson wi
Just the MacBook air M1, using USB C, I don't like dongles that's why I eventually returned the LG( try to just use one cable for all.)

Currently using two 27" 1080p screens but want to jump to at least 1440p for my new PC setup. Would these be good?

How the Dark Matter monitor? I'm looking to play some Flight Simulator and occasional FPS. I also use dual monitors for work. How would a widescreen handle apps like Office and some web based apps like SharePoint and what have you?
I have the 34" and love it for work. I actually use this an my laptop screen. I get just as much screen real estate as my dual 1080p 24" from my office desk.

Just use Windows key + left or right to snap windows to that half of the screen.

Or download an app called Power Toys, and use the Fancy Zones feature. You can set up different sized zones across your screen for your windows to automatically fill in.

Can't speak on the gaming part, but for a productivity monitor, the 34" DM is great.

I have this monitor. It has a fair amount of backlight bleed. I sent it back to get another one and the replacement was actually worse. I still use it and deal w the bleed but it is a little annoying.

Its a dice roll for sure.

However, some might just not like the panel tech (VA) while others do.

If its free to return, there's little risk beyond inconvenience.

That said, although I'd like a newer VA to replace my 8 year old one, I think i'll just keep waiting for the sub $1000 42" OLED rumored to be coming around year end.

Isn't the by 1200 an unusual resolution?

Is it going to just go to by 1080 at times?
