Only 90 days warranty. Which means no one year stuck/dead pixel policy they offer for new ones plus returns from customers after who knows what type of handling.

Not sure it is worth the risk.

I have the Zero-G 35", love it, awesome for gaming, great for something where you need a lot of screen real estate. Love the curve. I do kind of miss my dual monitors, as related to my work I need multiple Word/PDFs/websites open and having 2 smaller monitors was more seamless in this regard.

Just get it. Initially, I saw it on sale, after I did my research, the sale was done and I had to wait for 2 months for the next sale. I got a second one for another computer, a MP monitor via target where they have the same prices as MP, got the redcard 5% and some amount of rebate. Doubt they have open box though.

If you're not a gamer, those specs shouldn't make any difference to you. Outside of gaming at 144hz and some better color due to quantum dot tech, I would say it's not worth the upgrade.

The 43" looks like the only one left and imo its the worst of the bunch anyway with that strange resolution.

I would say LG > Monoprice > Acer
Between LG and Monoprice - LG has better pixel density so better for productivity and editing work. Monoprice has better refresh rate rate so better for gaming and watching movies. However LG has one big advantage of USB-C with 85W power delivery, so convenient for using with MacBooks and other PCs with USB-C ports.

This seemed like a decent deal.

I saw shipping to Alaska was pretty expensive and moved on, but I would have loved to pick up another 34" if shopping was more reasonable.

Same however no remote control? Did yours come with the remote? Also some extra screws apparently?

Anyone have good calibration settings? Out of the box it looks a bit washed out… and the ghosting is real can see why people complain about it in reviews for sure.

Dialed the gamma back a tad bit. Red way back. Blue back a bit. Now looks much better but could tweak more.

I got my 34" Dark Matter yesterday. The box was a bit rough looking but the contents were not. The monitor definitely did not have a new look to it. Seemed like someone poorly cleaned the screen. It was also missing the tiny red projector light that shines the Dark Matter logo. The monitor itself looks great. I Dialed in some calibration settings and I like it. The screen is so wide I was feeling a little nauseous while playing an FPS. I guess I'll have to get used to it. I like it, and with the missing LED I called Monoprice support and they credited my card $20. So for $279, I am loving it!

Got my 49" Dark Matter today. Package was beat up, there were scratches on the red bezel and black plastic parts on the back... and it would not power up. DOA. What a shame. Monoprice says refund only, so I now have to wait two weeks for the credit hit my card.
