Best Buy has MK 11 Ultimate for $29.99 on PS4.
The PS5 version has been at this price in the past, but not the PS4 version that also includes a PS5 upgrade. The PS4 version comes with 2 discs, one for the game, and one for the dlc. The PS5 version has a voucher for the DLC.

That is correct. Disc drives are too slow to read from, so the disc gets used as an installer for the much faster HDD/SSD. Still though, it's nice to have discs when you have a data cap on your network

Good price, but NRS games have a tendency to become dirt cheap bargains late in life. MKXL went down to around $7 one sale and is now on Xbox GP. If you don't need it right now, wait until this gets bargain binned digitally.

It's a damn good fighting game and the Finish moves are best the series ever had. There are only a few gripes that I have with the game.

They made it a Grind to unlock the more wanted character skins in game and cost to unlock them the easy way by giving 100,000.00 gold coins to the Shrine is just a tad bit overkill.

I have had this game since release and maybe unlocked 40% of the items that can be unlocked. I think they could tone down the tower challenges to 1 or 2 fights to get unlocks instead of beating 4 or 5 towers equal to 20 fights. Even on easy setting this could take over 30 min to unlock 1 skin.

Maybe i just don't have the patience any more or think the Grind isn't worth the reward.

It's a good game but cosmetics don't make the game any better so not sure why they lock these unlockables to strictly.

Last MK I ever played was MK4 and hot darn was that a good game. My fingers probably still have muscle memory of all SubZero and Scorpion moves. If I just want to win straight thru the easy way, I'd pick Liu Kang despite never knowing any of his moves.

Because some with a PS5 can't download full games and others don't care about PS4. Makes it easier for parents buying gifts, they won't know the PS4 includes the PS5 version.
