Thanks for sharing. I'm not really a fan of these supposedly ergonomic "gaming PC chairs," but this is a really good price for those who are interested in them. As a price reference, this chair is $194.95 at Amazon.

My office chair is the Herman Miller x Logitech Embody Gaming Chair [hermanmiller.com], which feels amazing and is actually ergonomic, but it's rather pricey at $1,595. For a more budget-friendly price, I recommend a Steelcase Leap chair that's under $400 [seatingmind.com].

Take care,
Tofu Vic

Reviews on other sites state this chair is junk. Falls apart. Might be good for kids or lighter weight customers, but would be hesitant to put most adults in it.... but then again for $45 it may be worth it.

It is a good deal but be warned: these types of gaming chairs ruin backs.

I had a top end one for several years from a good company. Messed me up pretty good until I got a proper chair.

What type of chairs? Comment is kinda vague and alarmist without details.

I'm curious, what happened to your back? I've been looking for a good work/desk chair for my back but also budget friendly but not sure how to shop without testing.

Gaming chairs. They are bad for you because they are made generally to fit as many people as possible. Most do not provide the proper support for your upper back. The way they are made also doesn't help. They are metal tubes surrounded by padding. Those inward flares at the top of the chair (racing mimic) do not do wonders for your shoulders being pushed in all day. Overall, they may work for some people but for many others, they are horrible to be used for work all day and then be used for entertainment in the evening (like gaming).

My shoulders kept being pushed/rolled in by the racing flairs at the top of the chair. I was working remotely 8 hours in it and then spent 3-4 hours gaming in the evening. The first few years were not too bad but after 2 or so years, my upper back, ribs at the shoulder blade and my neck was causing my severe problems. Chiro, physical therapy etc. I finally got rid of a chair and went with something else, and within two weeks, my pain disappeared.

This is just my story but if you check Reddit, there are many others that indicate similar type of stories with their "gaming racing chairs"

BUT, this chair does not seem to have as much of a curve to those wings so many be better!

I strongly recommend replacing the basic caster wheels with something like these [amazon.com]. It is such a game changer. (this like was just grabbed as a cheap option from amazon, look around and find one you feel good with)

Just something that supports your back and has lumbar support. Or more specifically a chair that promotes better posture.

Any chair is fine for casual sessions gaming because you only use it for a few hours.

But, if you use a chair for work (say you are remote working like me) and then also game in it, a chair without proper posture will start hurting you after spending 12+ hours a day in one.

Gaming chairs are always trash, end of story. For $45 maybe that doesn't matter to you, but enjoy your back and ass pain from trash tier padding and ergonomics. Get yourself a decent supportive chair so you don't have to do physical therapy later in life which costs way more than a $150 chair.

https://www.staples.com/staples-h...t_24328579 <- highest suggest this one for you're under 6 foot

https://www.staples.com/union-sca...t_24442486 <- If you're a big boy say 6'+ then go with this one.

Best bangs for your buck that will actually hold up and support good ergonomics.

Cheap junk or not, I'm in for 3. Got a kid going off to college and upgrade some old junk chairs my kids use for gaming. Blue went OOS while it was in my cart before I could checkout but red still available

also there is a 2 year warranty for $7.99 if that is your thing and worried about these falling apart.
