Way better off waiting for the Klipsch 12 inch sub to go on sale at Costco for $160.00. Extra 20 bucks is well worth it seeing as you may have the same sub for 15+ years.

I would say it depends on your taste and what you're trying to accomplish. I've had both and heres my experience- 10" is tight, crisp bass and is plenty loud for any average sized room. 12" is way more boomy and more of a thunder rumble than tight bass and will fill up a room and more. I currently have the 12" and when I'm listening to music I almost always have to lower my sub volume because it overpowers my speakers. BTW, my fronts are RF82iis.

This is what I've heard (I only have the 12"s); The R-120SW seems to handle this much better, but it doesn't go on sale as often. One other thing I've found are that the "isolation feet" (rubber replacement feet) seemed to make a big difference on the R-12SW.

I used the SVS brand ones ($50) but there are many others out there. It seemed 'crisp' it up a bit so that it wasn't just rattling everything. YMMV and if the 10" is cheaper, you probably don't want to drop extra $$ on subwoofer feet for the 12"

I had the 10" and I got the 12" and it was night and day. The 10" doesn't produce much base at all (at least to me). The 12" isnt as good as I would hope but for the normal $160 price at costco it is an incredible value. The 10" you will be wanting to replace it almost immediately.

If anyone wants two 12-in Klipsch subs in the greater Houston area for $100ea, I have a pair that have been used exclusively as speaker stands

So, there's a difference with 10" and 12" right? I'm not crazy for hearing punchier bass from 10" and lower/deeper bass from 12"?

These -SW series only have 50W RMS. I have the 12sw. Bottoms out in THX thunder sound effects. Lots of port noise. Basically not good below 50 or 60HZ. Don't recommend if you are remotely care about sound quality.

Naw, I think at that level unless your in a apartment you should be good.

I have the svs pb 16 ultra and it's really not enough to truly fill the room. You can hear it outside, but I doubt they can hear it in their houses.
