I TU'd the deal, because if you need cheap towels, go for it; Especially if they're mostly for looks! 😅
They're just really low quality. Lots of shedding fuzz, even after washing 2x. So much that the towels seem much thinner after a couple of washings... Want to bring a towel traveling that you can throw away? Done.

Holy crap reviews were not joking. The colors wash out of these right away and the threads come loose. I was going to say the previous commenter was being wasteful for throwing out fabric so easily but these are legit downright disposable due to how bad they are.

Dollar Tree sells amazing 100% cotton tshirts for women and children that are awesomely better than these towels.

Fluffy compared to a paper towel maybe. I've felt these and they are so thin and they are rough as well.

Thanks. Not trying to be wasteful, but are paper towels any better/worse for the environment? Seriously though, the hand towels make great oil rags for the garage right out of the package. 👍

Need bath sheet towels, thick enough to last for years? If you have an OLLIE'S fairly near you, they frequently have excellent prices on towels and linens.
Just be sure to buy things that are thick/close knit and thirsty in the first place.
Junk never grows better.

I would like to know too. I tend to look at reviews by most recent, and narrow to the 3 star reviews. Most of the towels recommended by NY Mag have plenty of bad reviews on Amazon. Plus their review system has become a sick game - too many repeats, fakes, and combining reviews from all of a brands' similar products under each item. Looks like the days of long-lasting good quality towels are gone unless you are willing to pay $$$. I bought a bunch of Costco Charisma 100% Hygrocotton towels in white that friends told me were great. Well, they were…..until the quality cheapened recently. They start out thick but just shed and shed endlessly in the dryer. I have two sets I haven't used and the difference is amazing. Guess I will be returning those.
