I know others will ask but, is it unlockble?

Seems like some of their phones can be unlocked via remote windows access (definitely use a burner OS on and external drive if you have one)

Rumor is to unlock is the 12 months you have here on TracFone PLUS paying for one additional month, then call TracFonePeace

I was able to request for unlock right before the 12 months requirement by calling them. Worth a try before buying an extra month.

Not as good as the Moto g power bundle. That was a better speced phone.

T.F. uses Verizon networks and you need to have the phone "active" for 1 year before you unlock it. FYI. $130 gets you the phone, 1 year of service, 1500/1500/1.5gb(for the year, not monthly) and it rolls over each month. I am very happy with my service and the 1500/1500/1.5g has worked fine for me. They give you plenty of ways to earn free points which equal free minutes, data or texts. 1000 points = 1 gig of data or 1000 texts or 500 minutes. 5 months in and I haven't paid a dime.


Make sure to Join rewards after activating the phone on tracfone site. You can enter a referal code to get an extra 8000 points, which= 8gig of free data, texts, minutes or phone plans. You need someone's code that has already referred 4 people or you will only get 4k points instead of 8k. You can google it or just ask someone on here who has been with tracfone for awhile Wink Any questions please feel free to ask.

bought a phone Jan-2020 from hsn, on tracfone similar deal, the service expired Jan-2021, but i am trying now to unlock the phone now and Jun-2021 which they have refused, and asking for another 12 months service or a $150 fee.
