Honestly, with Irwin Vice-Grip quality control falling so far lately, I think you're better off going to a store like Home Depot or Harbor Freight where you can see the pliers before purchasing to make sure the tips line up and that they function smoothly without too much play. There's no point in paying a premium for Irwin pliers anymore...

Here's a Stanley pair for $3.50: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Stanl.../311369492

For having to go someplace when you can just get it shipped to your house? I really don't enjoy going to Home Depot all that much.

Because some of us are older and trekking out to stores is kinda painful. If I needed this RIGHT NOW I would make the trip. But most of my tools are Snap On and this is a good deal for a good tool I;m all set.

I went with the Husky collection from HD. Lifetime warranty helps if somehow my pliers get twisted. GLTA

Don't use these for fishing on saltwater. Mine rusted faster than I could have thought possible. In one trip.

I think the op meant needle nose pliers. Nose pliars sounds painful.

Because it comes straight to my door without me having to move a muscle. Why do people always say, 'Why no go to Walmart, Home Depot, Target, etc.' Why would I waste time + gas when it's coming straight to me? People in here really don't have a brain.
While it doesn't matter so much with a $7 pair of pliers, with many things people say to go to Walmart /Home Depot, etc. because you know you won't get a counterfeit item. Not the case from Amazon.

I agree. I can see the argument for going into the store on something like this, especially after seeing the critical Amazon reviews.
