Maybe the old Correlle, but the new stuff chips easily if you're not careful. I've got a chipped plate and just chipped the side of bowl. The older Correlle seemed alot thicker than the new ones.

Idk how much of a deal this is...Spent $25 on this set when I bought it back in 2018. Still holding up well even with minor drops.

Edit: I spent $25 on the set with the coffee mugs too

I still have a few pieces of a Correlle set that we bought in the early 80s. Over time, in various moves and such, most of them got lost or misplaced. None ever broke or chipped. The few pieces we still have left--three bowls and a couple of plates--get daily use and they still look new. I'm sorry to hear the new Correlle is not the same thing. I was about to grab this set for everyday use. We have two other sets of dinnerware, a set of Pfaltzgraff stoneware and set of Villeroy & Boch, but nothing beats the utility of Correlle. Or at least that's how it used to be.

I ended up buying three sets of the Frost White. I looked at previous recent SD corelle posts, and this deal seemed on par or better than most.

One thing to consider: For the sets that include mugs, the mugs are the same stoneware as any other standard mugs. So they're effectively just filler, to increase the piece count. The same goes for the sets with lids.

So if you're in the market for Corelle, this is a good way to go. Not a door buster deal, but a good choice for a quality product, with no BS filler pieces. So all of the pieces are Corelle quality, and items you'll be using every day.
