Cameras aren't that great. 10 seconds latency which means it starts recording too late

I own 5 cam and motion detection is just awful. The setting for a grey out zones is just doesn't work and peeks whatever is at the camera sight. Wont spot a dog shittin on your lawn only spots when it walks away.

I don't see any improvement. Battery life in my XT2's are MUCH better than the new Outdoor model. I am not happy.

Overall, I am not real happy with my Blink system. I find that the battery life in the XT2 are better than the new Outdoor model. Another thing I don't like - I have 2 cameras that overlap so if one is recording, it won't record on the other and won't start recording on any other for several seconds after the first finishes recording.

Same here. Purchased 2 years ago and only replaced 1 battery so far. It was the most used. The others are still going strong.

would this work as front door camera like door bell camera?any comments on that use? just want to have a view if someone rings regular door bell. it's difficult to replace regular door bell with a video door bell. I might place it on the glass panel of door from inside so that it gets better network coverage.

Should be ok for that. You can setup a schedule on these too if you're only concerned about specific times of day. keep in my if you put this inside the IR may not work very well at night due to the IR light reflecting off the glass. if the concern is with coverage maybe consider how to extend coverage (like via mesh network or relocating the router?)

Absolute garbage cameras. Will not buy any Blink cameras again. I own 3 new Blink cameras and was lucky enough to be grandfathered in so I didn't have to buy a monthly cloud subscription. They all suck as there are numerous times when the camera doesn't alert/record when there was obvious motion or they do very late. I even have 'early notification' turned on.

Honestly it's my fault for buying a cheap camera - you get what you paid for. Lesson learned.

I should clarify - the "kits" include the sync module. Only the "add-on camera" does not include it.

You'll get a module with each kit. That will also allow you to set up two different groups. You can do 2+2 or 3+1 and set the cameras to arm with separate scheduling. i.e., front yard, backyard, daytime, night time.
