I've been looking for an X band wifi router. Pleasantly surprised by this one. On Amazon, this is listed at $249. I am seriously thinking about jumping on this deal. For Costco members, the final price is $199.99 (s&h included).

How many sq ft will this cover? I just got the tp link AX5700 2 pack for $290 at Costco, but haven't set it up yet. My house is about 2800 sq ft and my previous router was Netgear r7500. Would this have better range than the r7500? I have a few dead spots with my old Netgear router.

I can't find any information about sq ft. Personally, I do not think such information is useful. Depending on the physical barriers in a house, the actual sq ft. can be various. Netgear website says that this house can cover a large home from the front door to the garage. So, I guess it should be able to cover your house. (We are in a similar size house!)

Be careful with the warranty on Netgear products. They advertise it as a 1 year warranty, but will not provide any support after 3 months unless you pay $90 for a support subscription.

I learned this the hard way after my modem died after 4 months... at least this is Costco
