Bought one 10 months ago, battery just died. Dyson went straight by the book and told me to buy a new battery at $130. I didn't buy the Walmart extended warranty but bought it with my Costco Citi credit card so going through them to see if they'll cover the fix. So buyer beware. I have 2 other refurb corded vacuums that work just fine, the battery is the thing here that is unpredictable.

That having been said, this is the best deal you'll find on this vacuum refurbished. You want the fluffy head if you have any sort of hard surface flooring, and that only comes with the absolute package

Fair warning. I found this in the answers (to the questions section):
The Dyson Cyclone V10 Total Clean - both new in box and refurbished, will include the following: the mini motorized head, mini soft dusting brush, combination tool and crevice tool.

.... not sure why they advertise it as a Total Clean then if it's missing the accessories of a "new" Total Clean.

I'm sooo upset. I've been waiting for this item to come back at this price. I even have deal alerts set up for this and today of all days when I'm not online checking it pops up and sells out in hours.

The only saving grace is that my new house isn't built yet so I do have time to wait but uhhh. Maybe black friday will have an even better deal than this.

Dyson's ebay store has these in stock for the same price, if anyone still wants to grab one. The protection plan is through square trade and more expensive though.

Battery is removable thru screws, no swapping like the newer models.

I think they're out of the Absolute on there. The Total Clean refurbished is showing up on their ebay store too but it is missing a lot of accessories as same as the Walmart link above.

the cordless does not replace the corded with cats and carpet. And I find it doesn't do a great job on hard floors.
It's I think great as an accessory vacuum for spot cleans and such, but it doesn't suck as much as I'd like it for a daily driver vacuum
I also own a v10 Absolute. This will be my second one. My works flawlessly. I have a cat and two girls with long hairs.
