FYI... been following these Duo deals. The last batch that was sent out from woot were locked on AT&T... permanently. It appears that they were made for AT&T but they were diverted to Woot. AT&T was not provided unlock codes for the devices and the devices were not whitelisted with them. Even current AT&T customers were referred back to the manufacturer and last I read Microsoft then sending them back to AT&T. House of pain, I would say these are worth about $200 if you can NEVER unlock them.

If these are unlocked, might bite at $400. Will buy at $200 if locked or unlocked. I plan to use as WiFi only tablet replacement, not my daily driver.
Edit: I know completely different form factor, but at $600-ish, an open box MacBook Air with M1 is an incredible value. I only say this because the MBA M1 runs iOS apps, just like the Surface Duo runs Android apps

It didn't sell when it was over $1000 and it won't sell at $500-600 either.

There are so many better things you can buy for $400. This is too awkward to carry as a spare phone.
When you are sitting on hundreds of these, you either sell it for $200 or send them out to landfill
