These promotions that Amazon gets Slickdeals to post (they own Woot) are getting tiresome. Obviously this is something they had excess inventory on and nobody wanted it, so somehow it gets bumped to the front page of Slickdeals. I have been a user of SD for probably a solid ten years at this point, but I've noticed within the past couple years that the front page has increasingly devolved into a bunch of promoted/sponsored Amazon subscribe and save posts or standard sale promotions. SD used to be for actual under the radar sales and now it's just stuff like this...not trying to be a hater, I just miss the glory days of Slickdeals when I actually found legitimately great sales and discounts that users (and not staff members) posted, that were organically upvoted to the front page, rather than manually promoted.
