I got 40% off with max $20. But the offer did not work at checkout - it must be removed by the other 40% off offer for Prime Day. So probably should use this offer first before using the other one…

Same here. I think the 40% coupon is dead now, even if you happened to activate it successfully. The maximum number of people probably already redeemed it.
