I have this for 6 weeks already. I like it more then I thought I would. I replaced CPU fan with vetroo V5 and rear fan with be quiet 92mm PWM. Extra $40 and definitely worth doing long term for extra airflow. GPU is mining when idle for 29.5 MH with -200core, +650mem,70 power limit and 53% fan speed (custom curve in msi afterburner). GPU temp 53C.

Clean windows install is a must.

Add the AMEX $120 off $599 and this is pretty hot.

For everyone who bought or is buying this, you should watch the Games Nexus review of this card! ( Just search "Dell GN GPU" it's a POS and I bought it myself. If you going to keep just the card, I would flip it before the 1 year warranty is up or of its possible a better heatsink and fan for the gpu. And I noticed there are so many of these Dell oem broken cards selling on ebay!

Thank you.. overall it sounds like a PITA to upgrade.. I miss the old Dell PC where I can just swap a 3rd party PSU without the hassle..
Yes agreed. I bought mine with i7, 16GB memory, 500W power supply and RTX 2060 super, and love it after upgrading the coolers, but do occasionally regret not going with a Lenovo Legion for roughly the same price for near same specs, since that would be way easier to upgrade in the future

I have a 1650 super sitting around. would i be better off building? If so what would folks recommend? I would be doing some lite gaming. BF, Fortnite, old school stuff, etc.
If you already have a GPU, I would go with a AMD 3600x for cheap or wait til August and get the AMD 5600g, 5700g, 3700x 5700x for around 250-350. Alot of people selling these Dell and HP gaming Pcs without the GPU for cheap on eBay and Mecari also. I've seen some as low as 250. Intel newest is in this PC can be used also or the i7 version, but I believe the AMD motherboard prices are alot lower. Last week I got a MSI B550 wifi board for 73 bucks on ebay and then found a MSI x570 gaming with WiFi 82 bucks. Resold it for 140 and got more RAM. There are some good deals out there if your willing to search. Good luck

After I ordered, I received the email from Amex to confirm it is qualified for $120 offer.
Just to confirm playdc, so your cart was the Member Purchase Program in which as a member you get 3% rewards and expedited shipping and you still got the AMEX confirmation email?

Clean Windows install? To get rid of bloatware or something else?

The 1660 Super is a solid midrange card. The biggest issues I foresee with this box are the thermals and the weak PSU. It's just asking for problems down the road and being proprietary pretty much means you won't be upgrading it to anything better.
You can always find a cheap aftermarket board later and just pull the parts and put them into a better case/setup.

I don't think I ever enrolled in this program. I think a safe way is to register a new account to take advantage of SD 2.5% cash back to avoid the possible trouble.

If you've gotta go through all of that, you might as well build the box from the ground up in the first place.

There is an Amex offer for $120 back when spending $599 that will stack with this. YMMV on the Amex deal.

Sold my old used 1660ti last month for $740 on the bay. Think the price stupidity is peaking now that crypto prices are also dropping. This PC seems like a good value for the money in this current market.
Wow, prices are nuts.

I'm curious as to what my RX 580 8 GB would fetch, with an enclosure.

Yes, get rid of all the crap. Delete all partitions and create new one.

You can also save your windows home key and install Windows Pro if you want (without activation).

I wonder if the mobo is a universal type where you can swap the innards into a std ATX case and use a more powerful PSU?

I got the 1650 Super and it plays ultra settings at 60FPS with 16GB of 3200mhz Ram
You probably should mention that you're playing at 720p or less on Ultra. I entirely hate when people mislead others about PCs. The only games you might hit 60fps with would be Overwatch and it's because it's incredibly optimized.

If that's all you're playing fine, but the 1660 and 1650 are bottom of the barrel cards.

I play in 1080p on ultra... wasn't trying to mislead anyone!
