I have this for 6 weeks already. I like it more then I thought I would. I replaced CPU fan with vetroo V5 and rear fan with be quiet 92mm PWM. Extra $40 and definitely worth doing long term for extra airflow. GPU is mining when idle for 29.5 MH with -200core, +650mem,70 power limit and 53% fan speed (custom curve in msi afterburner). GPU temp 53C.

Clean windows install is a must.

Add the AMEX $120 off $599 and this is pretty hot.

For everyone who bought or is buying this, you should watch the Games Nexus review of this card! ( Just search "Dell GN GPU" it's a POS and I bought it myself. If you going to keep just the card, I would flip it before the 1 year warranty is up or of its possible a better heatsink and fan for the gpu. And I noticed there are so many of these Dell oem broken cards selling on ebay!

Yes, get rid of all the crap. Delete all partitions and create new one.

You can also save your windows home key and install Windows Pro if you want (without activation).
Not sure I follow, are you saying this is actually licensed for Pro?

I play in 1080p on ultra... wasn't trying to mislead anyone!
Still you don't include important factors:

What games?
What CPU?
Are you overclocked?
60hz monitor etc?
Using DLSS?

I am just saying that you have an option to install pro version (and not activate). This comes with home only

It is though when people are spending $600+ on something based on an uninformed opinion. 🤦

For all of the talk of upgrading, would this be a decent pick for someone just needing something faster than an old i3 desktop for basic Office use and browsing?

The only difference from this one is the CPU, right? 11400 vs 10400? I think the RAM is the same but just runs at higher speed with the 11400.

I wonder if it's worth the extra $20...
the processor is 50% more powerful so yeah i think so 12k benchmark vs 18k

Yes it should unless this is an odd variant with it removed. It can game but would not be a super solid experience. I would recommend watching comparisons on YouTube.

Yes agreed. I bought mine with i7, 16GB memory, 500W power supply and RTX 2060 super, and love it after upgrading the coolers, but do occasionally regret not going with a Lenovo Legion for roughly the same price for near same specs, since that would be way easier to upgrade in the future
Thanks for the info.. was thinking of upgrading my aging i4 inspiron but don't want to pay more that 250. Not sure how far I can stretch with that budget limit. Ill just reuse my GPU ..GTX 1070ti.. maybe even reuse my PSU 500W

its overkill for that this is a very powerful 17k benchmark rated processor, just add a ssd to your current system.

You could find something in the $3-400 range with no GPU.

Would this perform well for an OBS streaming setup? Non-gaming.
