The Go+play is an incredible buy at $155, if you want a speaker that remains in the same spot and remains plugged in 90% of the time, and is only going to used on its battery for short periods of time.
When plugged in it sounds freaking amazing, and the only speaker I've heard that sounds better is the Exos 9, which costs twice as much as this is currently selling for.
If you want an actual portable bluetooth speaker that can blast and has 5+ hours of battery life on max volume, look into the Soundcore Motion Boom or the newly released W-King X10. Neither of these sound as good as the Go+play when plugged in. The X10 is louder than the Go+play when both plugged in and especially unplugged. Hope this helps.
Fantastic speakers if you plug them in and keep them plugged in. If you plan on using battery look elsewhere.

Is this louder than a JBL extreme 2?
