I have these cameras around my house, so I'm not worried.

I see mostly favorable reviews. Do you have a link to the bad ones? Also, this was front page for just the cameras. Only $10 more from the front page deal gets you an Echo Show 5.

If you guys are considering buying this deal I highly recommend the solar panels. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0829S1...UTF8&psc=1. It gets to be a pain having to change the batteries depending on how much traffic you get and where you place them. I need a ladder for 2 of mine and I finally decided to get these panels and they've been working flawlessly.

I have the xt2 around my place. Honestly, i cant recommend getting these unless you only want footage of things around your place. They've been good for me, the battery wont last you 2 years unless nothing happens around your place. ive replaced the battery on my devices every 4-6 months based on the traffic.

Watching something in real time probably isn't going to happen since it takes around 10 seconds to load the live feed. If you're only interested in recording what happens they work fine. My ring devices load significantly faster for real time events.

They have the same subscription model as ring. $100 for cloud storage without it you will need to use the sync module 2 to save it to USB. Fortunately i dont have to pay but if i did i would look for other options.

What kind of traffic are you seeing that gives you 4 to 6 months of battery life? Normal in an out of the house with some delivery people here and there? Is the detection range going to pick up people up close or will it catch people walking by your house? Ordered a set and doing research now (buy now think later Slickdeals method).

Sorry, but this camera just sucks..
always delays when motion detected
if there is a lot of traffic, expect changing battery every month.

I see about the same battery life although I did turn video quality up to high because you literally can't make out anything on low. Oh my cameras it's the heavy foot traffic above my garage so probably trigger at least 10 times a day I get four months out of the one at my front door it's around six months

I have 4 setup around my place. One facing the walk way, one facing the garage, one in the back yard, and one on the side of my house. I live in a house that has units in the back. I get the most foot traffic on the walk way since I get people passing by. They have an option to grey out the area you don't want to trigger but that is about 30% of my camera view.

This device probably records 10-15 clips a day based on if the in laws show up. I replace the battery every 4 months on this one. I try to disable it when I have guest. The side takes anywhere between 5-10, the garage 3-10 a day, and the backyard, 5-10. These I replace every 6 months or so. The reason the back yard gets so many is because the wind blows the plants. I seen it on many forms as well but hornets love trying to attack my blink modules so I record them as well.If you dont get a lot of traffic then they will probably last a year, but 2 years is pushing it unless nobody comes in and out.
