I think you misunderstand the purpose of this tire inflator. When you are in the middle of nowhere, you can pump air if you got a flat tire. It saved me a couple time when I have flat tire, I can fill the tire with enough air to get my tire fixed without changing to a spare tire.

He just fills up plastic bags with the free walmart air before he goes on long trips.

Exactly. More for emergencies and convenience. I keep a compressor in every car because you'll be so happy you did if you ever need it. Same story for a spare quart of oil and jumper cables

I got this for $10.50. It feels a little cheap because of the lightweight plastic, but so far it works. I do like the detachable power cord. I wish the air hose was detachable as well.
How accurate is the pressure gauge when it's being used? I find the pumps with the analog gauge jump up way higher than actual pressure once I activate it. I have to detach and attach it again to get an accurate reading.

It's pretty accurate compared to my car's tpms system, maybe +/- 1 or less.

I bought this when it was on here for $20 dollars and I very much recommend it- especially if you can afford to wait until it goes back on sale.

Thank you and I bid you....Audew.

I hear you. I carry a quart of oil, tire inflator, a jump start battery pack, a pint of transmission fluid, and a pint of power steering fluid in my Tesla S. I haven't used any of it but it is nice to have as a reminder.

PSA: if you have a full size pickup, the plug in power chord will not allow the the unit to reach the rear passenger tire unless you roll the valve stem towards the front of the vehicle

I have the vaclife tire inflator, same design and features but the one I have supports both ac and dc.
I like to use mine to inflate tires on my road cycle. Inflates to 100 psi pretty fast.
However there is quiet a down side to this version.
1 pumping air to auto tires takes much longer compare to my other electric inflator.
2 pump and the air hoes gets pretty hot.
3 electric wire is detachable but it Does not have a compartment to store it.

It is pretty easy to use set the psi you desire and hit the power button. It turns off, on it's own, when the desired psi is reached. I cannot speak on accuracy of the gauge because I haven't checked it yet. But I would assume it's correct.

If you don't have a emergency tire inflator in your car, I would say, this is a good deal. $13.49 for a peace of mind is totally worth it.

I bought this for $13.99 a while back. It's not a bad pump. It's kind of big in my opinion, but there's a tradeoff between how quickly it can fill the tire and how big it is. This is designed to fill your tire fast. There's a lot of warnings written that you can't use it for prolonged periods, so I guess they're serious about that. But it took about 10s for it to pump my tire from 27PSI to 32PSI. There's also talk about how the motor will quickly blow out the replaceable fuse if you try to run it without a tire attached. Mine came with a crack on the side, but I didn't care enough to get a replacement. I have no idea what the handlebar is meant for.

Things I like: it's inexpensive and will fill the tire fast. Digital setting to autofill the tire
Things I dislike: lots of warnings about not running for long periods and sounds like it's easy to break (others don't have that issue). Bigger than I'd like. No self storage of the hose or power cable.

Overall, I am keeping mine until I find a better one. I would like something that takes less trunk space and is more reliable. I don't mind waiting longer to fill up a tire since it's only going to be used to top off and not fill a deflated tire.
It is quite normal for typical pumps to have an on / off duty cycle. Pump needs to rest or it can over heat and break. There are high end pumps that have 100% duty cycles but they are costly. These 100% duty cycles are designed for large truck tires or RVs.

If you have a pickup truck, I would recommend something better. This one comes with a 16' hose and a 10' cord. No issue with reach or fuse being blown since it clamps directly to the battery.
