Nice, been waiting for this one to go on sale for a while. I have the original one with the green handle but there's no battery status indicator. Also now I can have one dedicated for face, and one for...not my face.
Please No return!
Nice find! I can't believe they're pricing these to move!

To all who bought from my post last week:
The online automatic price matching form didn't work for me, but BestBuy's price adjustment was quick and painless, and I did it entirely in the chat from the product page ("Chat Now" directly below the add to cart button). When connected with a virtual agent, click:

"Help with a Previous Purchase" > "Price Match" > "Product I've Ordered" > "Requesting a Price Match" > "Chat with an Agent" > "Chat with a Live Customer Care Agent".

All I sent through the chat was a link to the product and my order number, and the agent processed the refund to my card hassle free (total amount $10.60 with 6% sales tax).

FYI, in case you didn't use a credit card, here's an excerpt from the refund confirmation email I received while still connected to the chat:

Hope this helps! I'm happy with the product and this price just makes it that much better. If you're a fan of the OneBlade, you won't find a more premium model out there. If you're upgrading from a green one like I did (mine was a QP2520) I think you'll be impressed by how much of an improvement this is (at least I was).

Is there a functional difference between this and the green one? I have been using the regular one for over a year and love it but is it worth upgrading?

Pro model so it has the divot in the back for the variable length comb, IPX7 rating, 120min run time (available runtime is conveniently displayed when in use and charging), li-Ion vs NiMH (better charging times (1hr) and battery durability), unique charging stand, travel lock so it doesn't turn on in transport.... See here for the product page:
https://www.philips.ca/c-p/QP6550...e-pro-face

I also think the motor is stronger and better at cutting, but I can't say for sure... My QP2520 does have some years on it.

How good are these? Currently using some cheap rechargeable WAHL shaver from TJ Maxx that does the deed just fine. Should I invest in something like this?

From a girl's perspective, I honestly love this shaver. It's great for little touch ups. It's not a super close shave like you'd get from an actual razor, but it's pretty darn good

This has a travel mode where you can lock it, that alone for me is the biggest plus.

Anyone know how many blades this comes with? I was about to buy 3 blades for $35 for my lower model but this seems like a much better deal especially if it comes with 2 blades

Edit: website says 1 blade, either way I picked one up

Why do you need two for? You can just wash it and if you're referring to the rest of your body being dirty, then just wash your body

Also would like to know. I got the 7000 today, tested it out and it pulls my hairs like crazy.

Any recommended head shavers? I use a Wahl haircut shaver trimmer and it doesn't quite get close even with a guard not being used. Plus the metal is kind of rough on the scalp skin. Or is my best option doing a razor shaved head with shaving cream? Do any electric shavers get equivalent results as a razor and shaving cream method for bald head shaving?

This is closer to a electric razer versus a electric shaver/clipper combo.

Oneblade
Closer shave while normally avoiding razer burn
Dry/wet use
Good trimmer
Frequent blade replacement

7000
Electric Shaver
adjustable clipper
blades rarely need replacement.
More of a Dry shaver, as wet can be hit or miss.

This unit is exceptional for head shaving. The Main issue is the blade cost and frequency of blade replacement.
