Nice, been waiting for this one to go on sale for a while. I have the original one with the green handle but there's no battery status indicator. Also now I can have one dedicated for face, and one for...not my face.

Nice find! I can't believe they're pricing these to move!

To all who bought from my post last week:
The online automatic price matching form didn't work for me, but BestBuy's price adjustment was quick and painless, and I did it entirely in the chat from the product page ("Chat Now" directly below the add to cart button). When connected with a virtual agent, click:

"Help with a Previous Purchase" > "Price Match" > "Product I've Ordered" > "Requesting a Price Match" > "Chat with an Agent" > "Chat with a Live Customer Care Agent".

All I sent through the chat was a link to the product and my order number, and the agent processed the refund to my card hassle free (total amount $10.60 with 6% sales tax).

FYI, in case you didn't use a credit card, here's an excerpt from the refund confirmation email I received while still connected to the chat:

Hope this helps! I'm happy with the product and this price just makes it that much better. If you're a fan of the OneBlade, you won't find a more premium model out there. If you're upgrading from a green one like I did (mine was a QP2520) I think you'll be impressed by how much of an improvement this is (at least I was).

I love my little green one. The only issue I ever had with it was not being able to properly blend my beard into my hair. Problem solved. Great Father's Day gift if anyone here is wondering.

Any recommended head shavers? I use a Wahl haircut shaver trimmer and it doesn't quite get close even with a guard not being used. Plus the metal is kind of rough on the scalp skin. Or is my best option doing a razor shaved head with shaving cream? Do any electric shavers get equivalent results as a razor and shaving cream method for bald head shaving?
I've been using a regular Norelco face shaver on my head daily for the last 15+ years. Shaving my head is easier than shaving my facial hair.

I tried a lot and am very happy with pitbull, it's a little expensive but has worked the best and quickest for my coarse head hair.

How good are these? Currently using some cheap rechargeable WAHL shaver from TJ Maxx that does the deed just fine. Should I invest in something like this?
The Philips one blade platform is more of a trimmer than a shaver, so you'll still have stubble after you use it. Additionally, when the blades are fresh, they do an amazing job at trimming, but I find they do not last as long as more traditional shear based systems, so you will end up paying more on the replacement blades. I like the convenience they offer and you can get a subscription for the blades directly from Philips or from Amazon. But if you are trying to save money, I'd just stick to the ones you can find at TJ Maxx.

I rarely replace the blade and it still nicely cuts the neck as if I shaved. Tempted but don't need another one

I read all the comments and don't feel like I got a clear answer on this particular model use for the body. What are your thoughts? I see that with the green and this there is an extra body kit but this deal does not include it. If My main focus is a body trimmer and don't want to spend the extra to get the body kit, would this work? The adjustable guard makes sense but is the optional comb necessary? Thanks in advance!

I would think it would work well with the included 14 length comb.Having said that the body kit cost is nominal as it includes blades. 19.99 for one blade kit 29.99 for two.

I feel the same.

Shaving
Razor> Electric Shaver> One Blade > Trimmer

The one good advantage of the Oneblade is it handles longer beards well. SO if you are shaving for the first time after a long time it is a great tool. Otherwise it tends to leave about a days growth compared to shaving with a razor. You could also use a trimmer with a comb and then shave with a razor. You could also just use a straight Razor.

Electric shavers tend to be least messy.

Triming
Oneblade = good trimmer > bad trimmer >>rest

One blade with the adjustable guard does a great job at trimming. Better edger then most trimmers. Better shaver then trimmers. Negative is blade cost and potentially messier then some trimmers.

Overall the main advantage is that it is one tool which can handle all tasks reasonable well. The shave is about as close as you would normally find at five if you shaved with a razor in the morning. Trimming is as good or better than most trimmers. Edger is great as well. Negative is a potentially a little messy and the blades last for 36-50 shaves or so. Not sure how well they last wet versus dry etc.It gives less razor burn then most options.

Basically just about picking the right tools for you...
