I couldn't disagree more and I'm a large/strong man. I had the non-propelled version first and made the upgrade to the self-propelled version. Significant upgrade and MUCH better mowing experience especially if your area is uneven with hills and such. Well worth the money and worth waiting until a deal pops up on that one. YMMV if you have a small and flat yard.

Make sure you read the specs. It is very limited on what it can run due to its 1.25A, but if it can handle the devices you plan to use then it will be handy. I have it and don't have much use for it after trying it.

Be careful with this. It is not meant for sensitive electronics. It killed my 1990s boombox and had weird behavior with other devices.

18" factory refurbished with battery was $225 or something about a year ago. That was the best deal I found and use it all the time.

I need a push mower to trim around the places my riding mower won't go. I've got the 2.5 amp Ego battery I use with trimmer and blower. Anybody have any experience using this small battery in the mower? Assuming it will work but how long? Thanks

I miss the days of the Home Depot deals with $99 blower and 2.5ah battery.
These "tools only" deals are not quite good enough, and I agree with other statements.. the prices on these batteries have to come down to keep competitive.
