I couldn't disagree more and I'm a large/strong man. I had the non-propelled version first and made the upgrade to the self-propelled version. Significant upgrade and MUCH better mowing experience especially if your area is uneven with hills and such. Well worth the money and worth waiting until a deal pops up on that one. YMMV if you have a small and flat yard.

Yup, I'm in the same boat. I just need the pole saw attachment to go on sale. It seemed to go on sale in previous years, but not this year. Got a deal on the cultivator a while back, but that's all I've seen for about a year now.

I think that we haven't seen great deals, especially on batteries, due to the chip shortages and probably low supply of batter cells. And people seem to be willing to pay slightly higher prices for the limited stock...

Maybe 30 minutes, on at least the self-propelled version from 2018. My 7.5A battery lasts about 1.5 hours.

thanks - i do remember seeing that one - thought I missed out on an Ego deal. I also saw the reply on page 1, further down.

I've been holding out on the 18" but probably should just grab the 16" when it goes on sale. Doesn't seem like the 18" w. battery ever goes on sale.

Exactly what I was going to say about the self-propelled version after reading the person's comment. Pushing this up any hilly areas sucks, so the ability to simply pull a lever to make the mower move on its own is glorious. Flat areas? Yeah, not really needed there.

5aH battery lasts 20 mins or so. My lot is 15000 sq ft and i use 4-5 5aH batteries. It is convenient and powerful(on max).
