Prior to yesterday I was vaguely aware of these Studio 590's. I've read the reviews, forum feedback and being aware of JBL's competency, I feel comfortable recommending them, given that I have experience with other similar speakers. YMMV
One of my systems has a conceptually similar pair of Klipsch. Another is a full on 120+ db@1m PA system. I've also got a couple pairs of high sensitivity bookshelves and some JBL bluetooth speakers. Oh, Bose and custom systems in my cars.
No multichannel HT because that is just dumb.
