This deal isn't exactly going to shatter the Earth, but if you are looking at getting a Roku Ultra, this is a good time. Deal is available at Amazon and Best Buy. This player seems to dip to $70 or so periodically.

It seems we don't take kindly to people who don't take kindly 'round here.
This was unfortunately the BF price last year. If you can hold off on purchase, and they're releasing a newer one this year, you can probably cop this for $50 later. Yeah saving $20 ain't no thing if you need it now....
Peacock and Vudu aren't available, easily, on the Fire TV 4K stick. Fire TV pulls in live programming to let you know what is currently on, and the Roku doesn't do that. No ethernet on the Fire TV 4K.

How's this different from Amazon Fire TV 4K? Do I need this if I have a fire tv already?

This has a USB slot to play media from, on it's Media Player app. And you can play many codecs, including 4K videos in HDR, music and pictures. Plus it is faster than a Fire TV. I have Roku, Fire TV and the new Google Chrome Cast. But use the Roku more often than anything, and for the couple movies I can't play on Roku I have Android boxes for.

I have the same problem with not playing few files on my Roku. Care to share which Android box do you have?

Same price at Staples as well, in case you have some rewards bucks to use (though I haven't found a promo code that this is eligible for to sweeten further).

Also same price at Roku website. . .which says the promo ends on 06/12. . .and would assume all these other retailers will pull the plug then or soon after as well. . .
