This has the new tiger lake Intel processors which are only 4 cores and is a performance decrease compared to the 8 core counterparts. The screen is also only 60% srgb color and 3060 gpu is the lower 80w variant. But it is somewhat thin and light so there's that. I would not get this for gaming or heavy workloads with multi tasking as there are similar priced deals like the dell g15 with Ryzen 5800h, 165hz 100% srgb screen and 115w 3060 for $1224 at dell.

Avoid, awful display, performance is so gimped by the shintel CPU it's similar to the legion 5 2060 last generation laptop in many games, if not most. Do not buy

Bought and returned the $1500 3070 85w version of this machine back in Feb. I've since replaced it with a 5600h/3060 100w hp omen that wipes the floor with it at a sub $1100 price point. The Asus looked cool.....
