As a veteran, I don't see normal enlisted service members and average veterans can afford this. But if one of you can, more power to you!

Take advantage of VETECH, get a certificate for Coding/security, you can have a job that starts near in the $70-80k figure range and be making $100k after only a couple years. Don't let the mediocre job they gave you stop you.
I'm just disappointed they went from the 88" to the 83". I've been waiting for them to come down to earth, but they cut off roughly 5" of diagonal length.

Thanks for the tip, I currently work as a technician installing Fiber which is ok (around $60k) but would definitely appreciate a $10-20k raise and less physical work as I get older.

Also this tv is $7999 everywhere else, so $2k off which is very good. Still though I would buy the 77" version for thousands less....

Going to look into that work, also to the other poster. If you never stopped working and received stimulus checks plus income tax money that's easily well over $10k + extra for many of us.

Except the 77 in version is only in the A80J series and not the A90J.

I suggest everyone take a closer look in the Owner's forum on AVS before splurging . Early feedback show the initial 83" set owners are receiving showing wide vertical bands that are throwing havoc on low APL scenes. Unacceptable for this price point.

Uniformity issues are present with all OLED's unfortunately. You just hope to win the 'panel lottery' with them. LED's have uniformity issues too such as dirty screen effect. That's why I'd get a set from a place like Costco where returns are relatively easy but no 83 there so you could try a place like Value Electronics with their QC and calibration service. Not sure if they would match that price but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Same picture, only difference is A90J can stay brighter for longer without ABL kicking in. I own Oleds and follow all technology very closely. If you have a question just ask……

Single or married everyone received stimulus checks if you made less than 150k couple or 75k single in the United States.Add your income tax and that's plenty of money there if you "worked" as stated in my post and never stopped.
