5 isn't boring per se, but doesn't quite have the depth of 4 in terms of the characters or environment. 5 gives you an opportunity to go anywhere on the map which is fine, but it feels like an easier game overall as loot is plentiful and because you can go anywhere you want, it's easier to level-up and become too overpowered. I got really sick of being captured by the antagonists, break free and then do it all over again.

Absolutely worth it to play, but will feel a bit like a letdown after FC4 and a much better story/gameplay.

Not sure which console you have, but the insanity bundle (FC3, FC4, and FC5) is $18 on the playstation store. Not as cheap as this obviously, but a pretty good deal.

Moved to Xbox this generation and I already bought fc3 and fc4 on PS4! I am daily checking GameFly used games for deals on odessey and fc5

As long as you're not playing it on a potato, the graphics and soundtrack are stunning.
Story is great. Not the best ever but I didn't see the twist at the end coming. I really enjoyed 5, it was fun to play through and explore.
