Those aren't my words. Usually the cheaper protein bars have whey as a major ingredient. Stay away from excessive amounts of whey if you wish to make friends and influence people (in a positive way)

Regarding alleged health risks: all of these effects have been well documented to be caused by a toxin produced by the largest most "powerful" industry today, the tech-telecom wireless industry that generates electrosmog that damages dna, causes hormonal imbalance (leading to diabetes) breaks down membranes including the gut brain membrane, causes allergic reactions etc. etc. read the bioinitiative report, early research by the military (naval research, Department of Defense, Air Force, NASA etc.), Dr. Martin Pall (who provided quality research on the known mechanism of calcium channel breakage leading to excess calcium in the cell), Dr, Cindy Sage, Dr. Magda Havas (who documented damage to blood causing it to appear sickly) and many more.

No study on food has ever controlled for this ubiquitous, unregulated toxin that is most prevalent due to tech addiction and tech marketing goals. It is extremely destructive and distubing to human electromagnetic and the bio energetic basis for life. Therefore, effects documented to be caused by electrosmog when observed while food is consumed is likely to be caused by the toxin, not the food, which by definition is always nutritive whereas electrosmog such as from microwaves in wireless tech are ONLY anti biological, not compatible with any life form (see Ulrick Warnke's research on effects on wildlife).

Also, anyone that understands mitochondria, which metabolize sugars, understands and respects the damage of toxins like mercury and electrosmog to this system that leads to diabetes...the inability to metabolize those sugars due to damage to the electron chain transport mechanism (already prooven to be caused by electrosmog in the 80s).
