Forget the first one and play the second one. It is a lot better and a lot more balanced/approachable with <4 players.

Overcooked is an absolute blast to play with friends. It was great for couch co-op with the first game and it was a shame it didn't have online play. Overcooked 2 addressed this with online play and some tweaks to the gameplay. You want to pick this one up.

If you really like this game but want it on console, they've done a remaster of Overcooked 1 & 2 which added online play to the original. It's called Overcooked: All You Can Eat. I picked it up on PS5 to play online with my family.

Excited for this but sort of bummed there doesn't look to be a season pass or something to upgrade to all the DLC for a reduced price. Hopefully the individual DLCs go on sale as at $28 for all the levels I might just be able to find the gourmet edition for the same price.
