When Direct Tools has these % off everything sales, the prices revert to the original price of the item. In other words, the 25% doesn't stack with previously discounted prices.
As the OP said, this is a great deal if the tool you're looking for doesn't typically go on sale, however many of their items are often on sale for more than 25% off - so it pays to watch to know if the item you are looking at is actually a good deal with this sale or not.
Shipping is $7 flat rate. Whether you get one item or ten, shipping will only be $7.
If you don't have a store near you, be sure to click the "ship to home" selection on the left side to weed out the in-store only deals.

If you have been watching this site, it can be an excellent deal for blemished items. I had a very good experience with this early on in 2021. For New Year's, they had 30% off sitewide. I had been looking for a chop/cutoff/abrasive saw (to cut metal). They are an authorized seller of RIDGID and Ryobi tools, among others.
The RIDGID R41422 abrasive/cutoff saw is $179.99 at HD brand new. It was $119.99 on Direct Tools Outlet for being "factory blemished" and it knocked 30% off of that, making it $83.99 before tax. Couple that with the fact that RIDGID will approve the lifetime warranty on "factory blemished" items from Direct Tools Outlet and it becomes an amazing deal.
I did have to buy a RIDGID flexible work light to get to $100 to get free shipping, but it was also 30% off and I use that for working on vehicles.
So yes, what you need probably needs to be specific, but if they have what you are looking for like they did for me, then it is an incredible deal.

Case in point. I just placed an order through there for the RIDGID portable band saw, which uses their 18V batteries. It's on sale at HD for $159.99. That is Direct Tool Outlet's regular price and with the 25% off was only $119.99 (plus the $7 shipping and tax). I also threw in a pair of kneepads for $4.49 on sale, so $142.33 for everything shipped - not too shabby!!
Factory blemished are essentially new with the same warranty as new.
Factory reconditioned are probably store returns and may or may not show signs of use. YMMV. 1 year warranty.
I'd personally stick with the blems unless there's a store near you to be able to inspect the used ones before purchase (and avoid the 20% restocking fee).
Reconditioned=I have purchased a lot of this through the site. 95% of the time, it comes in new condition and sometimes just in a cardboard box (missing the box.) They are almost always stamped with a Reconditioned...on the handle. I have had very few tools I purchased as Recon, and actually looked like it had been used a handful of times. Typically new condition.

I'm looking at a pressure washer and worried the recon state might have motor issues or something else internal.
All I need at the moment in the HP44L 4V QuickTurn Screwdriver since my old one pretty much died after too many drops, but they hardly ever have it on the site. Guess I need to go to B&M and see if they have it there. That's where I bought the old one, anyway.
Not going to pay 40 bucks at Home Depot for it since I got the old one for 15 from DTO B&M.

I would personally never order a big and heavy used item like that which is hard and expensive to package up and ship. There are enough problems with new ones that buying it locally, where they can handle the fixes/exchanges/returns, would probably be worth the extra expense.
Unless the deal is so smoking hot that you're willing to take the risk and fix it yourself if there're any problems.
I have had tools canceled from these guys after they have gone up. I have bought from vendor before but last order was just canceled for no reason. I would not buy anything from this outfit if you are depending on it in the near future.

I just bought the 1900 PSI reconditioned power washer. It has a 1 year warranty that makes the purchase a bit more reassuring.

I'm reading through factory blemished and some of the power tools don't read as having LSA anymore. Anyone else seeing this?
I've bought blemished before and have received LSA but without it anywhere on the product details including the product saying 3 year warranty makes me think maybe they changed the policy? Can anyone confirm?
