Now that's better! I just saw this deal a week ago at $298 and almost pulled the trigger. Glad I waited!

Note that the die grinder is Fuel, the ratchet is not (which is often preferred).

Deal link didn't work for me, try this one or search for internet #316080182

Thanks for letting people know that the ratchet is not the Fuel one. That is unfortunately a deal breaker for me.

IIRC it's smaller than the fuel and that is why it's preferred since it's only 3/8 anyways.
You can still manually loosen/tighten bolts with this thing (pretty much typical of any powered ratchet) and then auto rest of the way. If you need more power, people usually go for impacts.

The only one more desirable is the one with an extended neck.

Fuel one has a huge head. The non fuel is preferred

35 vs 55 or whatever it is isn't gonna make a difference much when trying to break bolts free. The tools design isnt to snap things free. It's a ratchet, it's use is to make zipping out bolts/nuts a lot faster than cranking by hand. Hence why most people prefer the non fuel. It's smaller, lighter, thinner, and the head is 1/3 the size. I have both, guess which one never gets used lol

Yeah, but when you're almost always using arm power to break the fastener loose anyways, does the amount of spinning torque really matter that much.

Also, too much torque (without an impacting mechanism) can all too easily result in smashed knuckles if you're not careful.

The reason that I would consider a Fuel ratchet over non-fuel is that the smaller non-fuel head can break if used on large seized fasteners where the Fuel is more robust.

I'm seeing 298, any special trick to see 259?
