FYI: Neither the extended warranty on Amazon or Costco cover burn-in. Confirmed this last night before ordering.
I have 2 LG OLEDS....one is 3 years old, the other 4. No trace of burn in on either. Read up, be cognizant of what causes burn in and you wont have an issue.
You DO have to baby these TV's a little more than an LED, but they look so much better.

How do you get 10% back?
I'm wondering if it's targeted. This is what I see.

Once you buy OLED TV there is no way you'll watch any other kinds.

From an article discussing how to avoid burn in on these TVs:

"LG OLED TVs come with special features and settings to preserve image quality and prevent burn-in and image retention. First, there is a Screen Saver feature that will turn on automatically if the TV detects that a static image is displayed on the screen after approximately two minutes. There are also three options (available in Menu setting > Picture settings > OLED panel settings) that can be used to preserve image quality.

The first of these is the Clear Panel Noise feature that preserves the quality of the image on the display panel by resetting the TV so that it clears the pixels. This feature can be turned on when needed within the settings mentioned above.
The second feature that can be employed is the Screen Shift feature which, moves the screen slightly at regular intervals to preserve image quality.
The third option is the Logo Luminance Adjustment, which can detect static logos on the screen and reduce brightness to help decrease permanent image retention."

It's a little tedious to set up, but worth it for this set.

I do too, it's 5% back. Just wondering where you got 10% from.
I see 10 percent back on newer OLED models

My question is why spend almost $2k on an OLED 4K when your eye will hardly notice the difference between a $800 for a new UHD? Can someone explain that to me please?
People who say they'll hardly notice the difference, are people who have never used a OLED TV in a dark room. The difference is night and day, and LED panels can't come anywhere close to an OLED in dark room performance. Not to mention, good high end LED TVs are just as expensive, if not even more expensive that OLEDs.

Got an open box one of these at Best Buy yesterday for $1299. Purchased the geek squad protection for $300, will swap out for a C1 once CX inventory is wiped out.

I wanted to believe this as that is my usual frugal standpoint. Then I went to best buy to compare and spent almost an hour just watching various content on MANY different TV's. The only ones that I 💯 could immediately notice a HUGE difference were the LG OLEDs. It truly is night and day, even the high end Samsung QLED looked like a 2 year older model visually. I am always on the side of "buy the #5 top thing for half the price of #1 and you'll never notice the difference" but I couldn't lie to myself on this one. There truly was no comparison, I ended up with the 77" CX Costco deal and don't regret it(remember, I have never spent more than $600 on a tv in my life and only replace every 5yr or so, I am by no means a best of the best guy) these are just my honest observations

It's gotten much closer with mini led with higher zone counts. I wouldn't call it night and day. I can notice it, but my wife couldn't tell you which was which.

But the price is closer now, so you just need to pick what is more important for you; Regular LED has better HDR capabilities, no real chance of burn in, and with the lights on will look as good or better due to higher brightness and HDR.

But if you regularly watch in a dark, light controlled room, then OLED is still the way to go for most people for now.
