Got an open box one of these at Best Buy yesterday for $1299. Purchased the geek squad protection for $300, will swap out for a C1 once CX inventory is wiped out.
Was the open box priced at $1299 or did you negotiate them down?

Negotiate down. Was listed as 1659 online, had it in the cart but decided to drive down to make sure no burn in. Price card actually read 1569, which was odd. Rep helped me plug it in, clicked through a few screens, no issues. Went to talk to the gm and came back with 1299. It was missing the stand, but doing wall mount anyway.

I'm wondering if it's targeted. This is what I see.

The first pic is the product page and the second is when you hit the "learn more" link from the product page. (Page 2)

I wonder how cheap this will get before completely cleared out? I doubt this is the lowest price it will go.

people who are saying there's no difference between OLED and regular LED are either too cheap or blind. if you're the type thats so cheap, bootlegged plex movies are good enough, then this TV is not for you. I would rather read a book than see an off colored pixelated mess.

Clearly there is a difference. Most people will acknowledge that. The question is how much difference, given your specific usage? Many people never watch in fully dark rooms. Versus a high end mini led, They will see no difference in contrast, except regular LED will be brighter and have better hdr.

It simply isn't black and white. What is best depends on your use case. OLED isn't better in all scenarios and for all use cases, although it is better in some. Ditto for mini led.

People who say they'll hardly notice the difference, are people who have never used a OLED TV in a dark room. The difference is night and day, and LED panels can't come anywhere close to an OLED in dark room performance. Not to mention, good high end LED TVs are just as expensive, if not even more expensive that OLEDs.
There is a difference, but sometimes not as much as people state. IMO, you may get 10% better pq than a premium LED, at a 30-50% cost increase. I own a A8H and perfectly happy watching my other LEDs. I think in some cases getting more screen real estate is more important.

This is the Lowest price for this TV out there. But yes Costco has a better deal with insurance. And this tv is amazing. Hooked my ps5 up to this and Spiderman/FF7 Remake looked amazing!!!!
Any issues with burn in from games? Only thing that has been holding me back.

The screen is pretty smart. Anytime you pause or no additional input is received it goes into screen saver. Plus I run the pixel resfresher once a month. I've had it since November. No burn in yet.

Is it worth it to buy such an old TV? Amazon says it came out November 2019. Are there newer models? It seems like 8K is getting down to this price point which may make these even cheaper, soon..

I just bought this TV a few weeks ago from Best Buy they will price match Amazon I highly recommend getting it from there because their warranty will cover burn in. I bought it at this price and I am glad I did. If you have a next generation counsel you'll be happy to play it on this TV. The only thing that sucks is you will not be able to run it at 120Hz in Dolby Visual because it does not support it. Other than that it runs smooth and I love the auto adjust to films and visuals. I have both next generation counsels and both systems look very nice on this TV.

These models aren't that old. The 65" CX I bought from Costco last month was made earlier this year.

To people saying led looks as good, it doesn't. The blacks are better on oled so are viewing angles.
