Yes. This unit does have gps and pre loaded freshwater lake maps. If you want coastal maps you'd need the 74sv which is also on sale

I'm trying to figure out the transducer as well. I can't see where it says anything about it. Does the included transducer work with the sidescan or is it just a downscan? I thought usually there were options so you could choose how much you want to spend on that part as well

To be safe, I went with the 74sv because it saids Transducer in the title.

Don't forget to search for discounted BPS gift cards. Looking like you can get this for closer to ~$400 by doing that.

FYI for the last 3-4 black Fridays I've been able to find the 9" version of this on sale for $600. Bought it this last year to mount at the console, considering adding this 7" now for the front of the boat, since they can be networked. Sell the extra transducer on eBay.

So buy this one now and if you like it, upgrade to the 9" this black Friday :-)

This is a great price, and I highly recommend these units. I bought this and the 93SV on a deal last summer and couldn't be happier. If you have a boat and fish up front, you might consider buying two! With two, you can network them together (with add-on cable) and share hotspots, view front/back transducers from either location, etc. It's nice to be able to drop a hotspot on either unit and navigate to that spot either from the helm or up front. I would have a hard time going back to two standalone fish finders now.

As stated, you CAN share data from a single transducer, so you could run them both off of the one. I've got about 20 feet of separation between the front and back of the boat and prefer to run a transducer up front (on trolling motor), and off the back, for more accurate readings (especially when I'm up front).

This deal is slick! I want to pop on this but already have a Helix7 and it's okay. Garmin's are much more user friendly and come loaded with a lot of what you need maps wise. If you have a boat and get out on big water, it's worth having something like this.

Can anyone give recommendations for a solid Fish Finder for kayak in saltwater? This one would seem more suited for boats. I saw BPS has the lowrance hook reveal 7x splitshot for $299 AR, is that a better option for kayak fishing?
