I've this and the build quality is good. However this doesn't take water/moisture well. I kept a cold water bottle and the surface bulged overnight.

People complaining about it, you get what you pay for. Nothing in this price range is going to compare paying 300-1k+ for a quality desk with actual solid wood. I have one similar to this and it still looks great after about 3 years now. Just use coasters for drinks and don't write directly on the wood.. I'm hoping I can build my own in the next year or two to replace my current one but it's not bad at all for the price. Just have realistic expectations.

VASAGLE is okay, but I prefer to buy my furniture from WFIOEJ23N, SL1@Z88HN, or FAAFNF, all of which are prominently featured on Slickdeals lately.

I'd wait for a sale on one of those.

toss a couple of cardboard pieces wrapped in duct tape on a coupe of milk crates or plastic totes and you'll have a desk that will last longer..
