That does not happen. So yeah, it would be a total surprise, if true.

Should not and that's what concerns me. I know for sure because there was a FP post under the wiki area of the post and the timestamp is the same as the original post (and hence why I mention timestamps in my comment).

Yes that's what I was saying. It was FP and SD now removed it from FP and put it on popular.

Surprisingly it became popular immediately as soon as it was posted and as other posted said huge wiki also posted. All gone now.

SD is manipulating site and all initial comments are paid comments.

Also even if it was paid FP, SD should put it as PAID deal.

Chiropractor here.

If you really have S.I., then, No, this pillow, nor anything that stretches the neck, will not help with your S.I. (abbreviated here, but not a common abbreviation, so don't call it "SI")

I'm going to assume you've got the correct diagnosis of S.I., maybe even diagnosed from two different Providers ... if you can, always get another Opinion, trying not to let the second Doc know about the first Doc's diagnosis.

You should do more online research on what to do next, IF the prior professionals who gave you the diagnosis of S.I. didn't give you a referral for either more study (x ray, then mri), or therapy from a specialist.

I would recommend three views (x rays):

1. Anterior-posterior (AP) view of the glenohumeral joint.

2. Internal rotation view of the humerus with 20° upward angulation to show acromioclavicular joint.

3. Axillary view to rule out subtle signs of instability (eg, glenoid avulsion, Hill-Sachs lesion) and to visualize presence of an os acromiale.

If it's anything but simply an inflammation of your soft tissue, then you've got more pain and torture ahead of you ..... BUT at least those three views will give you relatively immediate, inexpensive, and non-invasive Data to plot your correct/useful Therapy.

If your doc gives you an order for these three x rays, I'd call a larger hospital, tell the operator you want "Outpatient Labs", when/if they ask for more details, explain you have an Order for x rays on your shoulder, and you want to do those at their hospital.

I'd go to a larger hospital, because they use digital equipment (less radiation) and their Techs have tons of experience ..... and if you've got Health Insurance, larger hospitals will take almost anything.

Good luck!!!

I'm laying on mine now (I know I shouldn't be on my phone). They're great; firm but not uncomfortable. As others mentioned it takes a bit to get used to but I think it's worth it after a 10+ hour day at my computer.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. This has been going on for a long time. Did some pt and just been through about 30 sessions with a chiro. Need some fresh x rays etc.

I guess it's better than having one violently yank on your neck trying to dissect your vertebral arteries.

Upside is that after the dissection, you'll never worry about neck pain ever again.

You're welcome, happy to share .... especially for something as crucial for everyday activity like a shoulder.

Yes, I would get your Chiropractor to order those three specific views, then take that order to a hospital.

On the Order, it should clearly explain the three views .... you can copy this text between the ----- into a Word Doc and print to take with you:

--------------------

Three view ___ shoulder x rays:

1. AP neutral arm,

2. AP with internal rotation with 20° upward tube tilt,

3. Axillary view.

----‐------------

Ignore the ---, obviously Wink

Fill-in Left or Right shoulder before you print.

Print, and give to your chiropractor, and tell them these are the views you want.

Some insurance won't pay for orders by a chiropractor, so you might have to go to an MD or DO for insurance to pay .... you'll have to call either your insurance company or the hospital, as they'll call your insurance to check if they'll pay on an Order by a chiropractor.

The Chiropractor might offer to take these x rays for you, which is okay if they have a digital reciever, otherwise I'd simply explain you want digital films .... which are much better.

Lastly: I'm not hesitant to leave any Practitioner if I feel I'm not making progress by a deadline.

Always ask: Under your Care, how many days till I see any improvement?

If they don't make that deadline a reality, I move-on.

..... since you wrote this has been going on for a long time, you deserve better Care, ASAP.

Much Luck to you!!! Smilie

PS- upon further thought, I'd only go to a hospital for these films, because they need to be read by a Radiologist. The Chiropractor can also read films, but having multiple practitioners read your films means more scrutiny, thus a higher chance of catching the cause of your pains Wink

Fake reviews or not, I ordered one knowing it was only $12 and, anyway I could return it if it was shite. I can't tell you the number of things I've ordered with Prime that I never would have ordered if I didn't know I couldn't return them, hassle free. Bezos, you magnificent bastid, you!

I have chronic neck, spine and shoulder pain due to a wildly asymmetric body, so I'm up for trying just about anything.

Got it yesterday, and the first time I sat in the chair and put it behind my back, I heard 4-5 vertebrae easily crack back into place.

So I sat in my recliner and kept it there as some sort of stationary neck support. After about 20-30 minutes I replaced it with something softer, but:

For my singular purposes, this thing seems to have panned out for me.

YMMV wildly, and, yes, I'll bet you can pick this up on Alibaba for ~ $3 while waiting months for it to arrive, if ever. I've been known to needlessly complicate my life over pennies before, too. Hey, I'm an SD'er.

I get the anger/suspicions at SD and all, but me? I'm just waiting for some hyperventilating twerp to try and brand me a shill.

Oh wow. It appears that SD now hide the posting time on the FP post! There used to be a timestamp at the bottom of the staff/mod FP post that indicates when they posted it on FP. Now that timestamp is no longer available to the public eyes. This is very concerning and I think they read the comments here.
