80dB. Same noise level as garbage disposal. If you live in a high density development, then you'll probably annoy your neighbors if you use it during odd hours.

At this price point it's hard to find a compressor that's much quieter. California Air has a few good options that cost more: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Calif.../206087284

I think the compressor was always only eligible for the three year warranty.

FYI the rigid warranty is not 3 years, it is up to 3 years "as long as parts are available" . read the reviews on home depot for this compressor, they just say "sorry discontinued, no parts, too bad" instead of giving you a newer model replacement . I've been burned by their "lifetime" warranty personally. I still buy rigid tools sometimes but don't value the warranty at all.

Confirmed that this is correct. I was just in home depot looking at their Ridgid compressor. Was hoping it was lifetime warranty, but only 3 years.

I have never run it inside but running it outside its loud. However, its on par with other compressors.

I have this one. Got it when they were selling it for $50 2 years ago. Its a great machine...I was able to blow out my lawn sprinkler system with it. Don't think you'll even find a Harbor Freight 6 gallon for $75.
