Instead directly get the steam gift card, you can get the GameStop gift card which sometimes go down to 20% off. And you can buy steam gift card using GameStop gift card in store.

Have you tested this? Best Buy and Target don't let me buy Steam cards with gift cards
But then you have to go into GameStop
You have to go to GameStop. GameStop allows you to buy steam gift card with their gift card in store. I've tried to buy it online and it didn't work. But they do accept it in store though.

For the time being, Nintendo (I personally purchased one less than 2 weeks ago) and Steam (according to user above) work.
But other gift cards have been hard coded in the register to NOT accept GS GCs. Found this out the hard way and wasted money to get Nintendy bux which I have little use for smh
Time to prepare for Steam Summer sale as well as a few upcoming titles.
Anything I want on Steam is available through the Humble store, and a monthly bundle also provides a discount.
Much of the proceeds also go to charity, and there are some good deals as well.
I mostly buy on Steam during the winter and summer sales and at 75%+ off, and the last two years the backlog got big enough I didn't buy even then.
