If you are looking to save some cash over even the Elegoo Wash and Cure machine thats on Lightening sale right now... That one is $110.49 PLUS tax. About $30 more dollars.
Functionally they are the exact same. The Elegoo has an on/off button on the front. This AnyCubic has an on/off switch on the back. Not worth 30 extra dollars IMO, but you do you.
If you bought from the previous posted deal for an AnyCubic Photon Zero or Mono and regret not buying a Wash & Cure station... Now. Is. The. Time.
Looks like they increased the price $10. I am new to 3D printing. I ordered one of those Vyper models releasing soon. I was looking at one of these wash n cure but saw some info about water curing. Are these curing machines worth it when you can just use water and UV or sunlight?

You have to buy resin that is "water washable". If you don't you likely will ruin at minimum much of the fine details and finish on whatever you print.
When people say sunlight. They mean BRIGHT sunlight. If you live in an area that tends to get overcast, consider those days, days you cannot do this hobby. As such... curing outside is slower than in a dedicated UV lamp.
You then need to have dedicated containers for your used IPA that's still unusable that won't evaporate. Dedicated plastic or wire mesh to put your prints in to wash while being able to drain them when you lift them out because...
....what some people don't consider is that resin doesn't stop being resin when you throw it out. Just because someone might not care that manhandled a resin model and get uncured resin all over their gloves, mats, paper towels because they throw them away...doesn't mean its not sloshing around a landfill and whatever else it touches becoming a real hazard.
Wash and Cure stations pretty much solve all these problems and they do it while minimizing space. Obviously as a 3D Printing users we all are DIYers, but this is one area you aren't actually going to save money or time.
Cool thanks for the info. I have been wanting to get into 3D printing since it came out. I was thinking about getting the Plus model but I really have no idea what I will be printing. Went ahead and grabbed this for $99. Looks like its worth it. Been needing an excuse to clean out my office space and I guess this is it lol.
