That's a good deal! Good find
Any help would be appreciated

Yes it would play on any next-gen console and would even upscale it look better.
in fact, this game specifically is already optimized for the series X | S. says so on the Xbox store website.

Yes, Series Xbox's are fully backwards compatible. And These games have been optimize for use on there. I think frame rate boost specifically. Likely instant start and auto HDR would work as well.
That's a better deal then posted in the OP since it includes Halo 5 for just a few dollars more. I just got a Series X in the mail yesterday and I remember back in 2001‐2002 playing the original Halo in high school with friends all the time. After that life happened and never played all the sequels so maybe now is time. Only thing I see is your deal is a physical disc, I've been out of gaming for so long it seems having to insert a disc every time you want to play is a drawback now? Worth getting digital maybe so you don't have to worry about discs? Thoughts from others?

I know it's part of Game Pass Ultimate but wondering if it's considered as 2 different games.
