Not to start a whole physical vs digital debate but yeah it depends on what matters to you. Digital like you said is great if you dont want to swap out disks or wait for the physical game to arrive in the mail or have no space in your home for physical media. Physical is great for any potential re-sale value as well as some immunity from the digital storefront going down at some point in the future (although the jury is still out on this). But overall there's no right answer, it depends on what matters to you individually.

This bundle does NOT include Halo Reach or Halo ODST, however you can get Reach for 5 dollars and ODST for 2 and some change right now which is the cheapest way to get the collection.

So wouldn't it be best to wait (if someone can) for the Microsoft store to have it down to $10 if the game page says it includes the campaigns for both missing games?

They are not.

I have download codes for this and can confirm that you only get the player vs player multiplayer modes of both Halo Reach and Halo 3 ODST with this version on the Xbox One/Series S/X.

Halo Reach and Halo 3 ODST campaigns are seperate paid downloads. They are only free as long as you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber.
