Bios is locked,Generic, home brand GPU,Can not just buy and add the same type/speed ram, micro motherboard. No upgrades could be done.Junk...
How would somebody spend this money,if you can get a normal CyberpowerPC(got mine with EVGA 3070),for like $200 more.Easy upgrades, better case, better card, better MB,everything is better.

If you never planning to upgrade this PC-you are ok.
But I think you son would be more happy with,at least,3070,for almost the same price,or,may be,3060TI.
This HP 3060 PC-just not for me.
Google the difference between a generic 3060/3070 and EVGA 3060/3070.
I had to return my first 2 CyberpowerPC's back to best buy, only, because GPU was not a brand I wantet.
I had to have a EVGA 3 fan,but had MSI 2 fan,Cigabyte, which is still much better then HP or Dell GPU's.
My third came with a EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 XC3 ULTRA GAMING 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Graphics Card and MSI Z590 PRO WiFi ProSeries Motherboard.
And I end up paying for this CyberpowerPC $1460(had 10% off coupon and some rewards)+ will get like $150 in rewards 2-3 weeks after.
This is a better PC,better deal and the best RTX 3070 available.
Also, the price will be cheaper at Best Buy,then buying directly from CyberpowerPC+ you don't have to waita month or 2.
Best Buy order will be ready in 5-7 days

I initially removed only the top plate and think that helped airflow but didn't notice any difference once the fan was added so since have removed but have left the plate off. Should I have used a different fan header on the MB or a different 120mm fan?
Additionally, I subsequently added a Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 PWM, Heavy Duty Cooling Fan as an intake fan on the bottom of the case since no front intake fan in the 25L and also raised the computer up to increase available air. I will keep this fan as surely can only help since that is the only bottom location on machine for additional intake.
What fan did you install and what have you noticed? Also any advice or suggestions based on your and other experiences would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I think the CPU cooler change he did was probably the most effective but I don't want to go down that path at this point as would void the warranty since need to remove the motherboard, etc.
