Took about 4 hours of phone time, multiple emails, and a 200 dollar fee, and I was done. It was much better than rebooking the ticket and cancelling for a loss. But, a simple change on most airlines was a disaster with them.
They, according to their policy, could have cancelled it and I would have had to rebuy a 5,000 dollar ticket.
The air experience was wonderful, start to finish, Ritz level of luxury and finesse. So, overall, the totality of the experience was good.
So I can pay $40 later to get lounge access and seat selection?
Agreed.. Their customer service is horrible it would take months/years for refund.
