Thinking of pulling the trigger on this monitor. Is this monitor good for gaming/entertainment and office/work? I don't mind spending $100 for a better monitor as long as it's 32" 1440p 165hz+.

I'm not an expert but from my experience, try to avoid VA monitors... and go with IPS panels if you can....

VA panels usually have better response times but IPS panels are generally much prettier to look at. All depends on your priorities. I'm not a super competitive gamer so I'd rather have the nicer looking picture personally.
I don't know too much about computer but I guess I would only go for IPS monitor if only benefits of VA is faster in response time by like 1 ms or who knows.
If you were ask me to count up to 3 seconds, I probably can do it. But if you ask me to count up to 1 ms, I have no idea how that goes.
As far as the other comments regarding VA vs IPS it is all personal preference. IPS usually has better color but worse contrast. VA has higher contrast and faster response times but the viewing angles are typically worse than IPS. There are plenty of high end VA TVs and monitors that look just as good as many IPS monitors/TVs. Personally, I like VA.
