I bought these in store for $15. I got 5 and put them in every car and gifted them out. I respond everytime this deal or comparable set is posted. It is worth $20 easily. You will not find a more complete "home" set for less. I welcome anyone to post a comparable set for the same price. It has hammer, pliers, adjustable wrench, screwdriver, hex, and socket wrench. This is the most used set in my home because of the case and pieces don't go missing. The socket wrench will help you in a pinch if you need to adjust anything on the car like change your battery or tighten a hose. The other day I took my kids biking at the park and I needed to adjust the seats a bit higher. I was able to because I had this cheap set with hex and screwdriver in the car. I have used the socket wrench to install a hitch on my car, so the build is quite solid. Yeah there are better sets out there for constant use or for "professionals". But you are not gonna find any issues with this set with occasional or even frequent use (unless quality has dramatically changed in the last 2 years since I've bought it). If you need it, get it, you won't regret it. Yeah this set is not on sale, this is regular price. But it is never in stock when I check and I plan on getting more now as gifts and backup sets.
Bro, you still haven't backed up your claim that you can get this for $10 "anywhere". Do you even buy tools bro?

This is an awesome combo for throwing in your trunk or for a kid just starting out. Can't beat it. Had similar in my trunk for about 25 years. Really helped a couple times

A quality set of screwdrivers already cost this much(Wera). Low grade tools on sales have costed me more in unneccesary replacement of parts and added stress than anything else. yes you save a few bucks.

If using for important projects I advise getting better quality to save you money in the long run too

I got one of these cheap sets for $20 from Walmart around 2005. I still have it with around 3/4 of the original equipment. It gets the job done for the average person for things like removing your battery and assembling random things every so often. Not the best but decent for the price.

Agreed, works great around the house. No point spending a crapload of money on snap-on.

Not unless you're a mechanic

If you use your car/truck as your tool box then great, you'll have your best tools with you if you need them when out and about. Personally speaking, I keep my best tools in the garage and I keep one of these kits in the trunk.

BTW many years ago I did actually use my car as my tool box, but some frigger broke into it and stole them.

Yeah people automatically assume HF is always cheaper but it isn't always the case especially since their 20% coupon isn't readily available anymore.

Not the best tools in the world, but I can see how it can be handy in a car or dorm. Def not for everyday use, or even moderate home use. If you were to keep something in the car, you prob want a screwdriver with several bits, 10mm socket, wrench, pliers, electrical tape, and knife/scissors. At min, keep a cheapie multi-tool in the glove box (which would have pliers, slotted/Philips, and knife/scissors). Everything else, is a nice to have. Something is better than nothing in a jam.
