If you search the thread, there is also a bundling offer that drops the price down another 10% to $2906.99. Thus far the cheapest qualifying item most found to be the galaxy plus ear buds. The discount program pricing and bundle discount will bring that item's price down to $64.79. For a total of $2971.78 plus tax for this 85" tv (and ear buds)! If you have an old wired or wireless headset to trade in for recycling you also get an instant $20 off through the trade in.
Searching the thread will also mention a cancel trick to generate a price $100 less for the TV. Not going into detail here since it seems like an automation exploit, and may have even been patched according to a recent report from an SDer.
YMMV on cb redemption through the different cashback sites.
85" was OOS for a bit, but appears to be back now with a later starting shipping date of July 9.

Yes, these neo QLEDs are a dramatic step in the right direction. No, they're not a true OLED replacement and you don't get perfect blacks nor do you get the near-perfect off-angle viewing of an OLED.
Give it another two generations and I'll call it a true OLED replacement. It'll be a true OLED replacement when there are effectively no downsides to buying micro-LED over OLED.
2% cashback off TVs too through a certain site. not sure about the rate on others.
I would personally go with 77" OLED for my apartment, especially with LG. You do get great value, it's future-proof ( Dolby Vision, more HDMI 2.1 ports ) and great software support!

Very few games if any support Hdmi 2.1, especially if playing on a console…….
4K 60fps is the target and even the new Ratchet And Clank performance mode with Ray tracing is only 1080p……
This technology really closes the gap though.
