So its anything you watch if your viewing space is well lit during the day
Honestly...I rarely watch my OLED during the day
I use the LCD( Sony Z9D currently) for most of my occasional day watching
OLED has gotten better as well
many would still argue that oled still has better pq than miniled and i'd agree with that in most cases. but another consideration is screen size. there just simply isn't an affordable oled screen that is larger than 77". difference in 77 to 85 doesn't seem much but that extra 8" is a significant difference in movie watching experience imo.

Mini led is an improvement...but many would argue its not night and day and not going to make anyone go out and buy one to replace their last years flagship LCD
Besides that we still have viewing angle and panel uniformity inconsistency issues in LCD's
Everyone that I have ever listened to , in the A/V business or a professional calibrator has said OLED is a better TV than LCD and its not at the 95% percent level
However, they are including the shortcomings as I mentioned before of LCD's
The new Sony Flagship OLED has gotten a lot of buzz for better dealing with certain colors and its brightness levels. As expensive as it is, I think its selling relatively well
My understanding is that Samsung is also coming back into the OLED marketplace
In regard to the screen size...I think the market for an 85" TV is FAR smaller than the market for 77" and below
In those size categories, OLED does quite well and even betters the top end LCDs in certain situations

you are right, there is no market for larger than 77" oled and most people will never drop original msrp of 5k on this tv. but if it retails for $2.8k like what i just paid for this tv after all, i'm sure that would be bigger market for it.
i thought 50" plasma was huge when i first set it up. then went to a 65" lcd and thought wow what a difference. Now using a 75" and you know where i'm going with this

Take a look at the Sony A90J
Ones a Qled tv the others an Oled , they both have their advantages.
Dark room viewing Oled will always be superior , bright room viewing the Mini Led will always be superior.
Oled no blooming, perfect contrast
Mini Led from Samsung Hdr peak brightness
Oled technology is some of the best, Led TVs are doing great as well. Every tv has its place
